Life Lessons #1

When you are looking for good food, go for the places

  1. packed with locals
  2. nobody calls you to try out their food

Touristy places with waiters standing outside calling you to try their food generally do not have good or authentic food.

  1. I totally agree….we recently went to Seattle and the only good restaurant we found was when I asked a local which place was her favorite!
Likewise with any cuisine, whether it be Italian or Chinese or Indian – you know it’s really good if people from that culture eat there (because they can cook it at home, why bother paying to go out, unless it is REALLY good!)
I never go to Indian restaurants that are packed with Westerners.

        1. Unfortunately, I am not a prolific photographer. I ate in a moroccan/middle eastern food place and their baba ghanoush was the worst I has so far in my life.
