Review: Imagine Lavender Farm Soap

I visited Natural Bridge Caverns in Texas a few months ago and got this soap from the souvenirs shop there.

What Imagine Lavender Farm  lavender/goats milk/oatmeal soap

Product website –

Company (from the website) – Bernadette McFarling moved to the family hill country ranch in 2006. After 37 years of nursing, Bernadette retired to follow her dream of lavender farming. The 6 acre lavender field stretches across a hilltop with sweeping views of the hills and valleys, just on the edge of Blanco “the lavender capital of Texas”. One of Bernadette’s many charms is being able to have her field of lavender while allowing the wildlife and native plants to flourish along side it. It wasn’t until Bernadette had serendipitously met Patience Diaz did her dream become what it is now, Imagine Lavender Farm at Rocking L Ranch.

Smell – Fine. Mild Lavender

Packaging – A simple plastic wrapper around the soap. I prefer paper. I really liked the lavender flower put on the soap  Nice touch.

Ingredients –  Apologies for the poor photo. I am not a very keen photographer and I was rushing when this was taken.

The ingredients consist of saponified oils, butters, goats milk, oats and lavender.

Size – Pretty small. 2.3 Oz i.e 65 grams. It is almost half the size of the soaps I have tried before.

Price –  6.95 USD but I believe this was because we got it from a souvenir shop/touristy place.  The gift pack with 5 soaps is 13 USD on the website.

How it feels – Has a mild smell. Slightly more drying compared to other natural soaps I used. Less sudsy & creamy compared to Sweet Cream Suds.

Overall – 3/5

It did not really leave a lasting impression on me especially, in view of the awesome soaps I have been trying out lately but then, I am not writing this brand off. I might even try their other products in the near future. These kind of soaps are great if you live in the US and you are supporting local products 🙂
