Observations about marriages in patriarchal societies – 4

So after a long list of observations about marriage in patriarchal cultures, can one conclude one  is better? Nope.

Everybody is entitled to do what floats their boat but that does not mean it has to work for everybody else. Just because it works for you does not mean it has to work for everybody else.

People who have AM need not take a moral high ground and use that to put other down.

Nobody needs to be forced/emotionally blackmailed/ guilt tripped  into marrying or not marrying.

A marriage is between two people. Everybody else should stop interfering in the marriage and stop dictating and complaining about what their family member’s spouse is wearing/ cooking blah blah as long as they are treated civilly.

If families expect their children to be married, age is not a factor, it is mental and emotional maturity and if they are getting married, let them work on it and be mature enough to handle it and treat them like adults.

End of series.
